Since you have to scroll down to reply, the top is what you see first. People are only skipping it by being willfully ignorant. You just admitted you know where it is but you don't bother to look, because you just don't care.

And I only responded because I think it is totally BS, that women keep popping in the men forum and then get huffy when men don't respond well to it, this isn't the first time.

@@OutsideMatchInside Hell yes i knew it was in the male only site.... Pretty sure the first thing i said was.... I KNEW. what i think is BS that You (a female) us using this as an excuse to post here.... from what i can see you went into the male room and read male post... Just like all the rest of us..... So get over your holier than thou attitude... it doesn't work here. I can't take anyone serious that doesn't have the balls to post a pic of them selves here but seems to have opinions about everything....

here's an interesting post form 2013...... as you can see WE have been talking about this for a long time.... and ended up have a great time with it.... both men and women....

@@BSanchez2016

Please considering slowing your roll, my young hombre.

All is well. All is good.

Take a deep breath and relax.

You are at the tipping point........making a big decision about where to head next and what the implications are.

I'm gonna drop some truth on you, boss. You didn't ask for this....but here it is, regardless: Every major decision I've successfully made in life......every good choice.........every single life goal that I've achieved.......has been when I took the advice and was inspired by A WOMAN !!!!!!!

They are called the fairer sex for a reason, buddy. Dudes promote broscience and much of that deals with how to increase the size of our toolage and whatnot. It's true. We all wanna be bigger, faster, stronger...........

It took a woman's encouragement for me to see that faster isn't always better. "Slow down, Pedro....the race isn't over until everyone reaches the finish line".

It took a woman's intuition to help me see the benefits of having wls.

It took a woman's encouragement & feedback to know that I'd done the right thing.......and was doing the right thing.

Women, my friend, make the world go 'round.

Know this. Accept this.....and roll with this. You'll be better for it.

Now....I'm not a preacher. Therefore I'll come down off the pulpit and stfu.

My hope for you is that you relax and get some good and solid advice for the questions in your head at this time. I know they are many and they are wide ranging. It's a very difficult time.....making the decision on wls. I feel for ya, mayne. I was right there just a short time ago.

I truly get the concerns over having good wood. Trust & believe that I get that......but mainly trust & believe that your wood will be gooder once you drop any unneeded pounds you may be toting and embrace your health and fitness. It's all good, bro. The wood is gonna be all good.

Guess what? You'll know when the wood's all good, too......know in the best and most sure way......because a WOMAN will tell you.

I'm sorry but that's total B.S. A woman may give good advice but there's also many women who give horrible advice and who have ulterior agendas. As an adult man we are supposed to be mature enough and wise enough to make our own decisions.

My comments were based on my own experiences. The OP was being very rude with his lashing out and made a sweeping comment that I chose not let stand, thusly I replied.

I could have simply been a dick and called his comment total b.s.

Instead, I chose to talk to the young bro. I've lived a little longer than he has and hope that he can benefit from my mistakes.

For the life of me I can't even understand why people get so wrapped around the axle over subjects and postings.

There are some really fine people on here that I truly enjoy communicating with.......and I value their input.......regardless of where the thread originates. Then there are some I simply prefer to ignore and move on past.

I find it amusing you chose this thread and commenting having a great time with it. There are a couple of men and a couple dozen women. Obviously, most men did not feel safe to comment.

As has been mentioned, the men, for the most part, are trying to be respectful and not post in The powder Room. Why can this not be reciprocated? If this were a forum I moderated, I would have closed this thread. It can be created over in a public, general forum so all can enjoy.

A point that has been lost is when a man has an issue they would like to post and get male responses, do they feel they can do it and feel safe? Not get a response from a female because she feels she has the answer or wants to leave a witty response? Bottom line is all of us can view each other's threads ... that is not the issue ... leaving comments, however, should be left to the gender of the room.

Respect each other and yourselves.

Hey Sanchez, Hope you got what your asked for ....."Ok...So be Honest With Me....." and " ..."Hope to Ignite some Answers"

You made out just like your suppose to on a open forum. (and More) no one is better than anyone here we are all here wanting to get some answers information support truth and honesty good or bad because we are all FAT, UNHEALTHY and MISERABLE and we want to make a change. the truth may hurt sometimes but it is what it is The truth. No one is here to judge and i certainly didn't get on (since No one had answered anyway) to do that. But, any whooo i hope some of your questions were answered. Good Luck on your WLS journey..

Trust in the fact that i could have pulled up MANY post that the men invaded the woman's room... in fact i could have sent you one that was started by a man IN the lady's room.... and back then this was Lapbandtalk... there weren't that many of us to begin with.... and still the men were out numbered.

There are many.... post i could have pulled up where the woman invaded the mens room and people didn't get bent out of shape like some people now do....

I picked that one... because he was asking about the very topic the OP asked about.

Gosh people life is tooooo short to worry about all the small stuff.

Has it gotten bigger? Let me put it this way, I tried to post a picture for you but got an error message that read "image too large, please resize and resubmit."

Joking aside, WLS does nothing but good things to the equipment.

My perspective of the women/men only threads is that it's a warning to the squeamish opposite sex that they may not want to enter the conversation. Some guys get really, really grossed out by lady-bit discussions. Likewise some ladies get really, really grossed out by male issues.

[dumb, stupid technology]

I get your point on the purpose of the exclusive forums, but see it differently. My concern is not with anyone reading material that makes them queasy. There are certain topics I simply may not want to discuss with boys around and would rather that they not eavesdrop.

Now to my purpose for returning to this netherworld. You all should know that I prefer a penis of human proportion.

Dayum.....

That didn't take long to escalate.

So here's the deal, @@BSanchez2016 .....I'm a big dude, too. I'm not as big of dude now, though....thanks to the magical powers of my new sleeve and simply following my doctor's gameplan.

I can happily say that my junk not only remained intact, but it's benefitted from the weight loss, too.

Is it any bigger ? I simply don't have those stats to compare........and old Dub ain't posting any pics of his junk on the web.....so you'll simply have to take my word for it.

Is it any bigger? In my estimation, yes...it is. The base pad of fat that you mentioned has diminished in size. This translated to more usable wood.

Is it any better? Again, in my estimation, yes....it is. My vascularity is at a whole new level now. Blood flow throughout the body is amazingly improved. All over the body. My rooster will crow at the drop of a hat......a slight breeze and it's cockadoodle do. It's like being 21 again.

I'm a simple dude, too. I'm all about the simple pleasures in life. I can't accurately rank the benefits in order of importance.....but I can tell you without hesitation that being 100% satisfied with my junk and knowing that the rooster will crow and stand up proud and loud......yeah man, it may not be my number one benefit.......but it is close to top of the list.

Greatest reply I've seen in a long time (pun intended)

@@BSanchez2016 - I could not even see mine thanks to my gut prior to surgery. I was with a lady who I knew "biblically" before surgery and after losing most of my weight. She commented that things had "grown" since we were last together. So now there is no fat pad, there is no gut in the way, and I can see everything clearly down below when we are busy and I really like it. It will make a huge difference. And it is really cool getting into some nooks and crannies I could not before.

NOTE: most of your hormones are stored in the fat. Major weight loss means major hormone dump. Which means you will be the man of steel one moment and then crying and wanting to watch "Pretty Woman." Its normal until you get your weight steady. This means this is not really a great time to make relationship decisions. As you become more attractive, you will get more opportunities. Be SAFE and SANE. Just saying. I was 52 and single. I'm just glad I didn't leave that phase of my life with anything permanent virus wise. Not proud of all that, got my wild oats sowed* but I'm much more stable now.

*But I was the envy of all my married buddies for about 5 months. Especially when I was dating the 28 year old, but that's another story for a different forum. That story would begin "Dear Penthouse, I never would believe this would happen to me..." ;-)

I guess I will play along on this. Seeing how I am 6'5 closer to 600lbs when I started this process. Man part did I notice a difference. slightly yes. As some other have stated in here the belly as well as some of the fat padding around the groin pelvic region starts to shrink away more of the "Ram Rod of Doom" will come out of hiding. My girlfriend, lord bless her is now very scarred of it. You add to the few inches that I have picked up along with the flood of testosterone in my system and its like being 14 all over again. Except this time I'm 14 with a purpose and no filter and/or awkward shyness to stand in my way. Copulation is indeed 100% better, and I never really had issues with sex before the surgery and weight-loss, I really don't now. I think I said this in another post, that the only consistent exercise based activity that I could do faithfully with no fear was sex. Now its sex, cardio, weightlifting, and just overall being active in general I have no issues with.

Hey guys, I'm Bob 24 years old from Brunswick, GA, I'm 6' tall and weigh around 536lbs. I am in the process of getting the Gastric Sleeve and have so many questions that are hard to ask a doctor. I have asked questions until my face is blue! So my question for the guys is this... tell me about your man parts lol...

how did your penis size change after seeing results from your weight loss surgery? Did it get bigger? I have a decent size to begin with but the fat mound around the base is big... help me out! give me some motivation... share pics with me if you want (Not gay just would love to see the difference!)! I try to Google full body nude pics of men after significant weight loss and no luck....Just want to see my future!

Hope to ignite some response!!

-Bob

Four days post surgery. I am sipping as fast as I can and getting NO WHERE near the goal of 60 - 80 grams of protein or the 64 oz of liquids. I just feel FULL. I don't know if it can still be the gas build up (I would think by now that would be gone) but it is a struggle to drink. And so far I have not had the nausea or spasms and don't want to wander into that territory by pushing too hard with liquids. I about passed out today as it was my most "strenuous" day. Went from second story to basement for shower and I was sure I was going to pass out. Looking back on my last few days I have had a total of less than 1000 calories. Am I just not getting enough nourishment in me? Once again a friday where I can't get ahold of the doc until Monday rolls back around so I am hoping maybe someone here has some experience on how to keep energy going. I do have fibromyalgia too and that may be where some added fatigue comes into play. How did you all fair with the goals the week after surgery?

2 days until I fly out to San Diego to have my Bypass Surg. in Tiajuana Mexico. Not gonna lie, the nerves are starting to surface. I don't fear the surgery itself, or the fact that I'm traveling alone, but its the aftermath that I'm stressing about the most, after this 8 week wait. I'm excited to finally be here, but I am really dreading the post surgical chapter. I know its going to be tough, real tough and I think I'm just in my head to much now that the day i here. Wish me luck, Hopefully I'm one of the lucky ones, and everything goes smoothly. Cant wait to give an exciting update,. If there is anyone else have a June bypass or even a recent one, Id love to have someone to compare war stories with. Also, anyone near San Antonio Tx? See ya soon with the future me. 💜

I'm in Houston so kind of near you and had the sleeve in Dec. Down 61 lbs. Feeling better. Was definitely worth it. I hope the everything is going well for you. Update us when you can!

I am back home after my bypass surgery in Tiajuana. I'm post op day 4. Everything went great! I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who have not encountered much pain at all, no nausea thus far and I'm having no problem keeping down broths and water. Thank you for your well wishes. I cant wait to keep up this journey and have a chance at better health and simply better quality of life. I know there will be bumps in the road ahead, and everything won't be peaches and cream, but at least I have a great start so far. 😍

I am new here today... and only two weeks out from my sleeve surgery on the 23rd. I am amazed I have kept my calories down to 467 today so far... that leaves me almost 750 left for dinner and maybe a snack. This is going to be tough for two weeks... but I have to believe I can do it!

Hey everyone. I'm new here so I thought I should introduce myself. I am 53y/o and am scheduled for Gastric Bypass on June 25th, 2025. I'm located in San Antonio, Texas. I will be having my surgery in Tiajuana Mexico. I've wanted this for years, but I always had insurance where bariatric procedures were excluded. Finally I am able to afford to pay out of pocket.  I can't wait to get started, and I hope I'm prepared for the initial period of "hell". I know what I have signed up for, but I'm sure the good to come will out way the temporary period of discomfort and feelings of regret. I'd love to find people to talk to who have been through the same procedure or experience before. So I look forward to meeting you all. Hope you have a great week!

I'm so happy for you! You are about to change your life. I was so glad to get the sleeve done in Dec. I didn't have feelings of regret overall. And I'm down almost 60 lbs. I do feel a little sad at restaurants. I can barely eat half a kid's meal. I get adults meals often because kid ones don't have the same offerings at times. Then I feel obligated to eat on that until it's gone and that can be days. So the restaurant thing isn't great for me. All the rest is fine by me! I love feeling full with very little. I do wish I could drink when eating. And will sip at the end. Just a strong habit to stop. But I'm working on it! You will do fine! Just keep focused on your desire to be different. Not better or worse. But different. I am happy both ways but my low back doesn't like me that heavy. So I listened (also my feet!). LOL! Update us on your journey! I'm not far from you. I'm in Houston. Good luck and I hope it all goes smoothly! Would love to see pics of the town you go to for this. I've never been there. Neat you will be traveling for this! Enjoy the journey. Take it one day at a time. Sometimes a few hours at a time. Follow all recommendations as best you can. 💗

      2. Doughgurl

Thank you so much for your well wishes. I am hoping that everything goes easy for me as well. We don't eat out much as it is, so it wont be too bad in that department. Thankfully. Also, I hear you regarding your back and feet!! I'd like to add knees to the list. Killing me as we speak! I'm only 5' so the weight has to go. Too short to carry all this weight. Menopause really did a doosey on me. (😶lol) My daughter also lives in Houston. with her Husband and my 5 grand-littles. I grew up in Beaumont, so I know Houston well, I will be sure to keep in touch and update you on my journey. I may need some advice in the future, or just motivation. Thank You so much for reaching out, I was hoping to connect with someone in the community. I really appreciate it. 💜
