So last night I started having pain in my "new" stomach. It almost feels like I did too many sit ups. I have my follow up appointment today but I'm nervous. Did anyone else deal with this pain? I tried pastina Pasta last night. (Very small pasta). I only had a little bit but maybe it stretched it? I'm a little nervous :(

One meal of anything isn't going to stretch your sleeve. It's possible the Pasta didn't agree with you. Five weeks out is very early to be trying pasta in the first place. Definitely best to talk to your surgeon.

I am guessing that it is more that your tummy didn't digest the Pasta easily. If you are following your quantity guidelines it seems very unlikely that you are feeling any stretch. In fact, of people who say they have a stretched sleeve, I don't believe they report "feeling stretched" at all.

It does seem kinda early for Pasta to me as well, but i was on a pretty conservative program.... pasta is fairly low in nutrients an with that tiny new tummy, not the best investment in the limited capacity. No guilt or shame, just something to consider as you move forward and make food choices.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
