How is everyone doing? It has been radio silent on this page for a while. We are coming up on three months and I have lost 50lbs. Wish it was more but you know slow and steady wins the race.

Hey yall. Happy 3 month surgiversary! My HW 224, surgery at 204, and now I'm at 173. I'm 33lbs from my goal weight! My losses have never been overly fast because I started with a lower BMI. I average about 2-3lbs per week. So I'm okay with that. :) how are yall doing?

My rating if a lot different than the first month. For the first two weeks I was on Clear Liquids and the two weeks following I was on full liquids. I haven't really found anything this my new stomach can't handle. I had to start adding vegetables and greens in sooner than expected because my gallbladder did not like all the Proteins in my system. Congratulations on your weight loss! This is the best thing I have ever done for myself.

For the first I think 6 weeks I was omg the worst I was getting acid reflux throwing up I couldn't eat not even a boiled egg and still I find bread even if it's wheat or grain bread I find it so heavy. I eat half of a steak and I'm stuffed I love this and I'm excited that that my 19 year old daughter got approved and what surgery date is the 31 of May next week ! I can eat about anything but I'm paying attention to my stomach and still drinking my Protein shake in the morning only. But other then that I feel good

Hello All,

Hope everyone is well. I'm doing OK....down about 46 lbs. I am very grateful to be thinner, and to finally have clothes to wear. However, I feel like I can eat WAY too much, and I am hungry all the time (for being this early out). I had concerns that my surgeon left my stomach too big from the start, and I'm struggling to keep my calories down. This wasn't something I expected. I guess I am one of the ones that never gets the break from constant hunger, and I kind of feel like it's back to the dieting days. The good news is, at least I'm not gaining weight and I have lost. I just fear what it will be like in 8 months, if it's this hard now.

How are you all doing? How is the weight loss and food (calories going?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
