"Gee you're fat!"

@@usedtobeaskater

are you kidding me

how can i person be so mean, stupid, ignorant, -----flll in the blanks

@@Valentina - i laughed out loud as i was reading your comments

did you hear me? ;)

OP made great comments/suggestions what you could have said, done

if it were me, i just would stare in disbelief, and walk away (upset)

wouldn't know what to say

i would think of smart asss things to say

AFTER i left her!!!!!! too late then

if this happens again about any subject

i would use one of great comments above

i have said in the past

"Why would you say such a thing

then walked away!!!"

sometimes people do open their big mouths

say a cruel remark without realizing what they are saying

ignorance is bliss - NOT!!

sorry you heard that stupid, insensitive remark

always one in a crowd

keep feeling good about yourself

you are doing great

you are aces!!!

keep up the fantastic job

i know you will

kathy

So I am feeling great about myself. Working out hard, eating what I am supposed to, no cheating, and thinking I am looking good after 3 months post op and down 50 lbs since surgery

AND THEN...... I just got back from a wake and my husband and I ran into someone and the first comments out of her mouth to my husband she says "You look great!" To Me "Gee you're fat!" REALLY????!!!! That is not okay.

I am not a mean person, I just do not have it in me but I wanted to say "Ya, I'm fat but you're ugly inside and out and I am losing weight! What are you going to do?" But I didn't.

I have not wanted to cry in a long time and I feel like I was kicked in the stomach. Why are people so mean and say things like that?

My husband says to let it go and ignore her and I am trying but darn it that hurt! Like I don't know I am fat!

I will overcome this but I'm mad!

Does she want to f*ck ur man? Sounds a little weird to me. Like shes tryna build his confidence but crush yours. Watch out for her.

Your first two sentences are the truth. The up side is what you shouted on the inside: That hag has to go through life being herself, deservedly so. I'm not mean either [one hopes], but on an even brighter side, maybe she's a real-life Sophia from "Golden Girls" -- brain damage burned out her inner censor and sense.

Let's kick her in the shins.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
