    This thread began with her mother, who only ate an Apple a day, forcing the OP on diet pills from when she was 8 and essentially forcing her to stay thin via whatever means. The OP said she gained 7

  • Since you deleted your original post, I don't have a ton to go on, however a big part of life is learning how to take responsibility for your actions when they don't work out the way you want them to.

  • i totally am not buying a story where someone says they had this surgery against their will and have no idea what was done to them. Sorry this doesnt pass the sniff test. Im out, peace, I hope yo

This OP is just like a couple of others on here that post some really "interesting" posts - I "ignore" them.

I haven't done that yet to this OP, but if I see post after post, that is really out in left field...to the "ignore" pile :D

@Stevehud - good catch!

Don't get me wrong here ... but this entire story echoes of external blaming, which the younger generations have been encouraged to do. It's weak, unintelligent, and will ruin that persons life. Their dignity has been removed by teaching them to behave this way.

I wonder if there will ever be a time in history when the "younger generations" aren't considered whiny crybabies?

It's very possible that the OP had some regrets and is externalizing the blame on to her mother. I don't think that is a "generational" issue. Just because you, as an older adult, always (I'm assuming) accept the blame or your regret/mistakes, doesn't mean that ALL of your generation is able to do the same.

I have been holding off on responding, but this sounds to me like the urban legend about going to a foreign country, getting kidnapped and waking up with a kidney missing.

On her repost it indicates that she has 18 posts, but on her profile page it says this:

There have been 1 items by g8edgrl (Search limited from January 22, 2001)

.....One post from 2001....... My BS alarm goes off when there are only a very few posts and the surgery date is the default 1999.

I hate to sound cold if this is for real, but it is soooooo bizarre and hard to believe.
