Please don't take this wrong because I'm dead serious, but you need some major therapy to work through all of that. You will never be happy until you can work through those issues with your weight and your mother.

Please, seek therapy.

No idea. I'm only roughly estimated I was 210 based on the bmi they gave me. I could care less about my number. I just know it's somewhere around there

Will it help to know that 99% of people regret the surgery the first week or so? And that how you're feeling now is not how you will feel weeks, months, and years down the road? And that within a matter of months you will be eating pretty much anything but in smaller portions and you will feel pretty normal?

Please don't bash the sleeve. For me and countless others, the sleeve has been a godsend.

As far as your complaints go, if the doctor recommended a sleeve then either you are officially obese and have a BMI of around 40 or greater or you are below that, say 35 BMI but with co-morbidities. Doctors in the U.S. are really good at not recommending or even allowing the sleeve for patients that do not fit this criteria.

I realize a lot of people regret the surgery but I never even really planned on having it at all. So I'm in shock and dont know anything about what has been done to me.

I realize some really need it but my Dr. Even admitted at the appointment that it wasn't a have to for me but if she felt it was he would continue with it.

I am 4 weeks out and what Babbs said was true for me.... I had big time regrets, and now 4 weeks out i am eating and loving i had this...

My sister's are feeling for me and are trying to tell me I will feel normal again eventually. I'm just hope they are right.

He actually told me I could drop 50 lbs and be fine. But this was permanent that's what she loved about it so much. I couldn't even get approved by insurance for the balloon or band cause I wasn't big on enough

Wow! What Dr. Would do this to an unwilling patient and provide no education? This is totally wrong. Are you over 21? You would have to have signed papers to have this surgery done. We need to know the name of the Dr. and the hospital that did this , so we can warn others.

Yes I'm over 21 I signed the papers did the online stuff the hospital did everything right. I just never planned on actually doing it. Just was trying to teach my mom a lesson but Now I'm stuck with it. The hospital was actually great they did do a good job taking care of me
