Band/plication

I had my lapband/ plication 3 days ago and wow must say I struggled so much with recovery I was in so much pain especially the gas pain, I was given Panadol liquid to go home with and voltaren suppository but honestly they both haven't helped???? when will I start feeling better and any tips with the gas pain

I was told a heating pad but I found that an electric blanket is working better because it is larger and I can cover the shoulder area much better. It is helping me tremendously. Don't forget to walk as much as you can too. It will get better. My surgery was just yesterday but this is what is working for me so far.

Walk. Walk. Walk. I can't even tell you how many laps I did around my house those 1st few days.

The air bubbles were the worst for me. They hurt far worse than any of the incisions.

Just keep walking and telling yourself it will all be worth it!
