What are the top 5 thing you brought? I have surgery planned for January 8th....I kinda have an idea of what to bring....but it doesn't hurt to ask everyone else!

I don't even own pajama bottoms but I might consider a pair because I hate working about my butt hanging out.

You can always wear two hospital gowns. One the regular way and one backwards.

I'm wondering about the Gasx..did you who took some have to hide it? Most hospitals will not let you bring outside remedies in. My dad couldn't use cough drops or his Vicks inhaler and another wouldn't let my father Inlaw take Tylenol that my mother Inlaw had.

That was my experience too. Couldn't take anything I brought. They had to get a doctor's order to let me have cough drops/throat lozenges.

Gas X strips, lip balm, driver's license, insurance card, loved one to drive you. You don't need much!
