Top 5 things to bring with to the hospital.....GO!

What are the top 5 thing you brought? I have surgery planned for January 8th....I kinda have an idea of what to bring....but it doesn't hurt to ask everyone else!

I'm wondering about the Gasx..did you who took some have to hide it? Most hospitals will not let you bring outside remedies in. My dad couldn't use cough drops or his Vicks inhaler and another wouldn't let my father Inlaw take Tylenol that my mother Inlaw had.

Just curious :)

That was my experience too. Couldn't take anything I brought. They had to get a doctor's order to let me have cough drops/throat lozenges.
