Lap band to sleeve revisions? Advice needed

Hello! I had lap band surgery August 12, 2009. THE WORST decision of my life. Finally after struggling for many many years, I am in the process of seeing if i can get this revised to the sleeve. Are there are any former banders out there that have had a revision, and if so what was your outcome? How did the process go as far as insurance? Literally starting over. Thanks for any help!

Poke around in here and you will find a forum specific to this issue (it's that common!) Generally, with insurance, unless you are under any one WLS per lifetime restriction, you need to have the same qualifications as any WLS - BMI above 40, or 35 with specific co-morbidities such as high BP or sleep apnea.
