Has anyone self-paying had lap band surgery using True Results in Atlanta?

I am in the beginning process for my lap band surgery. I am a self-pay since my insurance will not cover this surgery. I have completed all of my steps and my records have been sent the medical director for clearance. They have had my records for almost two weeks (I have no health problems). I was told I would get a phone call (it was supposed to be yesterday) to set up my pre-op appointment so I could get the surgery scheduled. I am impatiently waiting to have this appointment. Has anyone who had to self-pay used True Results of Atlanta? How long from your first appointment until you had your surgery? I am trying to plan for holiday travel and am eager to get this scheduled. I am so ready for a change and just want to get started on this journey.

My understanding is true results is more of a referral service they probably had to send it out to the surgeons office for clearance, I believe(could be wrong) they use Peachtree Bariatrics in Atlanta.

Thanks for your reply. I will go to a different office for my pre-op and my surgery. I did talk to them a few days ago and they getting a phone call to schedule but I haven't. I guess I am just REALLY impatient and want to get started. Maybe I should just find my patience and wait for that phone call.
