Is it possible to get too filled. I feel like I am too tight. like even Water is getting stuck. I was ok the 2nd day, then on the third day at night I tried to eat a little salad and i feel like its still stuck, a whole day later.

I dont' feel good. should i go back and get it loosened. I was fine before this.

You need to go get a bit of Fluid removed. As soon as possible if you cannot get water down!!

Go, go, go, go, go! Get to your doctor and get some restriction taken away. It could ease up on its' own, but if it is that tight, it may not. And in the meantime, you can be doing some damage by throwing up a lot.

I have been very inpressed with a company called fill centers USA. They

are very helpful in finding me a provider where ever I am at. They have

wonderful people to work with you. check out there web site

www.fillcentersusa.com or give them a call at 866-345-5872. I would

recommend them to anyone. They even sent me a book that is very helpful

with alot of differnt question I was having.:clap2:

Is this person just an ad for them? I've seen this entry more than once and am getting suspicious, particularly after the negative feedback on the centers posted by another user.

Hi, just wondering does anyone have their port placed under the muscle? I had a Tummy Tuck 18 months after lapband and my surgeon placed my port under the muscle. Which is fabulous as you can't see or feel it, however I need an unfill and havn't had anything done for quite some time and my memory of the fill with the port under the muscle was very painful as the port was so hard to find... Has anyone else experienced this?? Thanks for your help.

I believe it depends on if you are losing or not ? When you lose the weight from your lapband you do need regular fills - if you are not losing. If you can eat comfortably and are losing weight you are doing fine but if your weight loss has stalled and you feel like you can eat anything then you are ready for a fill - you should definately feel some restriction - only able to eat small amounts - If you are continuously losing dont worry - but if the scale wont budge go visit your doctor. I myself have had several fills including 1 unfill when i was too tight. My band got filled pretty much once a month for 5 months every other month. I am now consistantly losing 1-2 lbs per week have lost 75 lbs and have 50 lbs to go till goal keep going for maintenance it works !

Can I get information on Texas Doctors for fills? I was banded in Tj, Mexico.

I see Dr. Lara in El Paso at the Las Palmas & Del Sol Bariatric Center. His phone number is 877-335-7657. He didnt perform my surgery, but has been my doc for every fill since (2 yrs ago). I really like him. He is kind, but gets straight to the point. His nurse, Deborah and dietician, Blanca are terrific! Very supportive and full of information.

Sportsguy you might need a fill. How many fills have you had? And do you feel any restriction?

Hey! We were banded the same month and year!

Anyway, keep in mind that as you lose weight on the outside, you also lose fat from around your organs... this would cause your band to be looser and you may need a fill.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
