Ladies only! after Bowel obstruction surgery

I am a few days off to being one month postop with the RNY gastric bypass. Had Bowel obstruction surgery and hernia repair surgery 2 weeks ago. Has anyone heard of their vagina smelling horribly wrong (like poop) after bowel obstruction surgery? I never had any weird odors down there before.

No, but I did have a very weird smell after the catheter for a while. I had the obstruction corrected in an emergency surgery about 3 months post op. You may definitely want to ask your GYN. It's probably just a small infection you need an antibiotic for. Even non serious vaginal infections can smell like your rotting or something! Lol but, it's easily taken care of, just don't let it linger. Good luck!

I'm very recent I haven't noted any order but I sent u a personal message with my info dates and stuff. But I'm one week out and luckily they noticed it on day 3 I was supposed to be discharged the day before and elected for one more night as I had a hernia repair as well and that night the pain started and they figured it out

I'll follow up with you guys I have a follow up on Friday
