@@muhol88 have been going through chestnuthill hospital but have another surgery scheduled through Jefferson. Thinking about switching.

I just had a spinal fusion done at Jefferson on 10/22. I can honestly say they were THE BEST hospital I have ever been to. They were so amazing in taking care of me. We weren't from the area so my mom and fiancé were staying at a hotel while I was there for 2 days and my mom is a freak when it comes to making sure I'm taking care of in a hospital so she usually doesn't leave my side but she was comfortable enough to do so there. They were the nicest staff and truly cared abut their patients. If anyone has the opportunity to have a surgery there. I would recommend it.

Im in the Poconos. Having surgery tomorrow morning!!!

I'm close to you. Outside of Scranton in NEPA. Where are you having your surgery? I had mine at Wilkes-Barre General

I am having my surgery at WBG. How was it there. Since the Scranton hospitals suck and my surgeon has privileges at regional and WBG, I chose there. How was the care?

@@muhol88 have been going through chestnuthill hospital but have another surgery scheduled through Jefferson. Thinking about switching.

I had my RNY at Chestnut Hill, excellent experience. In comparison I had another surgery at Jefferson, and though the surgery itself went well, they were horribly behind the day of surgery. I was scheduled to report at 9:30 and wasn't taken into surgery until 4pm. At chestnut hill I was taken back on time. When you can't eat that waiting can be unbearable! After care was equally good at both hospitals.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
