So I want to hear stories...
I was sleeved 4 weeks ago. I have been obese/morbidly obese my entire life. Even as a child I was huge. I would like to hear from others who were never a "normal" size before surgery and are now (or are no longer in the obese category). How does it feel? How has your mindset changed? Has anything changed in your life in general? I get butterflies when I think I may someday be able to shop and not go to the plus size section. I just want to hear some stories for more inspiration!

Is this a usual thing...
During my 3 month presurgery program I lost 37lbs. Since surgery on 2/29, I've lost only 12 lbs. I thought I would have lost more than that post surgery. I am doing everything by the book. Lots of protein, low carbs, tons of water. Is this happening to others? Do u see a slower post op weight loss when u lose a decent amount before surgery?

Easter... What the heck am I gonna do!?
I was sleeved 2/29. My plan is ham, gravy, n mashed tatos in a blender. I'm sure I will have plenty left over for more meals

Smaller clothes...
I lost 37 lbs preop and had surgery on 2/29. Go to the dr next week for 2 week postop checkup and weigh in. I have not dropped a size yet. It's a little frustrating. How has everybody else done with clothing sizes?

Is this going to get easier?
Yes. It's gonna get easier. I'm 8 days post op. Getting more than my required liquids in. As the swelling goes down in ur sleeve u will find it much easier to sip sip sip and the air bubble feeling in ur chest won't be so dramatic. I'm already finding myself forgetting to sip and taking regular sized swallows. Hang in there! I promise it will get better soon! Yes. It's gonna get easier. I'm 8 days post op. Weighing
I had my surgery on 2/29. I will not be weighing in until returning to my doctor. I have a nice scale at home but have not replaced the batteries because I'm afraid I will become an "obsessive weigher" if that makes any sense. So I guess my question for everybody is how often do u weigh and are u obsessive over the scale?

TACO BELL it is
Silly question...has anyone attempted to put a taco in the blender? That was one of my first thoughts before I got sleeved but didn't try to do it. Yet.

On The Other Side (Finally)
Wow. Did u ask the surgeon to take the picture or does he always take a picture?

GP says to do Weight Watchers instead
My pcp was awesome. When I mentioned wsl to her, she said does your insurance cover it? It does. Her answer: *bleep* yeah you should do it. What are we waiting for??? She got me moving that same day. That's why I think she's the best.
