Day of surgery!

I'm scheduled to go in less than an hour and I'm super nervous and scared. I gave my son a big hug today, he's three so I don't expect him to understand. I need encouragement please!!!!

  • You've got this. Everyone that goes in is nervous. Very normal to feel that way. All I can say is that 7 days ago I was going in, too. The recovery has been great and I feel really good.

The recovery has been great and I feel really good.

I know now that it was the best decision I could have made.

Getting this surgery and losing this weight and maintaining it will help me be a better father, husband, son, brother, uncle, employee, church member, friend.........better in everything I do.

You'll do great. Keep your head up and keep making progress.

Get up and walking when they tell you to do so. It'll make your healing speed up and you'll feel better every time you do it.

less than an hour - super nervous and scared
