Day 4 post surgery. I am feeling better everyday. I've lost the weight I gained in the hospital and an additional 4 pounds. No nausea or vomiting but I am using pain meds. Pain is not severe, more "uncomfortable". And I tire out quickly if I do a lot. How are you doing?

I was sleeved on the 28th as well. Thankfully not having any problems with drinking Water or Protein Shake other then I can only sip small amounts at a time. The worst part about it is the pain when getting up or sitting down but each day it is lessening.

I was sleeved on that day as well. I feel sore but all is well otherwise. The first night oat op was horrid such pain. I cried and thought I made a mistake. Today a few days later I'm better. Tie rating liquids well... About to be discharged in a few hours o begin my new life.

I feel excited and hopeful about the future..

Post op*** tolerating fluids **

Day six- off pain meds down from sw of 214 to 205. I feel hunger pangs but they are usually quelled by some Protein. I cringe when I get on the scale (out of habit.) I still expect to see no weight loss like my endless diets of old. Hope my September buddies are doing well.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
