Impatiently Waiting for the Pounds to Fall Off!

I am one year and four months out from the sleeve procedure. Initially, the weight seem to have just fell off. Now, I struggle with weight loss. Thanksgiving of last year, I weighed 165 pounds. I currently weigh 170 pounds. Since last Thanksgiving I had gotten up to 178 pounds. I am a teacher and do not work over the summer and I ate more than I should. Since school has started back I have really been watching my eating and I have lost 8 pounds in about two months. I do not work out like I said, but I plan to get better. I am interested in possibly getting pregnant over Christmas break and want to lose as much as I can prior to pregnancy. I am thinking about going on a proteins shake diet, similar to what I did before surgery. Does anyone recommend this as a method of weight loss?

I do that at times to give my stomach a rest. I usually only do 3-4 days. You could try it but ultimately it's going to require eating right. I know, I don't exercise either and this last 20 lbs is going to MAKE me do it. Which I should be doing anyway!
