My daughter moved off Kaiser and now has Anthem in the LA area of California. Any suggestions for a PCP who takes Anthem and will refer to a plan Bariatric Surgeon?

Is it PPO? I have a primary care that I love. She requires payment at the time of the appointment and then bills insurance for you. Insurance will then reimburse you. I didn't need a referral from my primary though. I just made an appointment with my surgeon and didn't have an problem getting approved. My primary is Amy Weinberg (in Beverly Hills) and my surgeon was Miguel Burch (at Cedars)

Hi, my daughter checked her list of PPO Anthem doctors and neither one is showing in-network. So I don't think she can use them because it will be a higher cost out of network. Thanks for the info. Your results look great.
