How long did it take to get surgery scheduled once insurance was approved?

Just curious. I don't have any outstanding appointments or meetings. I already have insurance approval.

I was scheduled within two weeks once insurance approved. I had to do a two week pre-op diet or it probably would have been sooner.

It took a little over three weeks for me. And then I had to wait another month for the actual surgery.

My surgery was approved two days after the request was submitted, and I would have been scheduled for the next available opening in the OR, which was two weeks later, but I wanted to wait until my boyfriend was on vacation so he could help out. That was only one more week.

It took about a week for my ins to approve the surgery. My doc called to scheduled it as soon as they got the approval. the surgery date was about a month and a half later.
