Running to bathroom in middle of the night

Has anyone ever experienced waking up in the middle of the night wanting to throw up feeling so much acided that came up from their stomach to their throat .

Than going to the bathroom for 30 consently spitting out mucus nothing to throw up and keep coughing like it's your job and feel like your sick like when you have a hug cold the mucus is stuck in your throat and there is a lot of acid coming up and down any suggestions I feel like shit

I have to take omiprazole every day to keep the acid in check. But mine isn't that bad.
