Hello,
I am one week out of surgery. Went to my first post-op appt today where I was able to honestly answer that I had no nausea, no vomitting, etc. Everything seemed to be running smoothly. Then, as a 'celebration' to hear that all was well and I was 'brave' during the staple removal, I took myslef to the lobby and got a decaf soy latte with sugar free Caramel flavor.
I know I was not dehydrated prior to having it... but halfway home while sipping it I got extremely lightheaded and nausous.
By the time I got home, I NEEDED to lay down. I didn't vomit, but just felt generally crappy.
Was this 'dumping'? Is soy milk high in sugar? I usually have been using unsweetened almond milk for milk replacement.... they don't have it, so I went with the soy milk. Or maybe they used regular Caramel instead of SF?
I certainly didn't intend on making my happy pouch so angry.... what do you think?
