So I am 10 days post op and plan on calling my Dr in the morning. Today I noticed a hard lump under the largest incision on my left side. I did a little bit of reading and it could be a few things it isn't red and warm which is why I am waiting until tomorrow to run it by the surgeon. Has this happened to anyone else and if so what was it? It's about the size of a fifty cent piece.

It is common to have hard lumps at the site of the incision and these lumps do not appear to dissolve away over the months post-op. But to have a lump the size of a half dollar is unusual.

It is probably a seroma; collection of Fluid. Easily fixed by your Dr.
