I am flying into San Diego airport at 9:25 on Monday, 8/24/15. I will have MGB with Dr Ponce de leon sometime later that day in Tiujana. I will be happy to answer any question anyone may have.... may not be until I get back.

Thanks Daisee68 I am VERY anxious!!! I'm really not worried about the surgery, or being in Mexico. I'm not seasoned at flying.... actually I can count on one hand the # of times I have flown! My very first experience was traumatizing to me as a.... 5yr old little girl who thought she was big enough to go to the bathroom alone on an airplane! YEP, locked myself in there and couldn't get out!!! Lol! It's taken alot to get me on an airplane after that! Hahahaa!!! But... I WILL make it!!!

I noticed you are from Texas..... I was born and raised and lived 37 of my 41 years in Texas!!! Actually never thought I would leave! Texans are their own breed, I love it!!!

I am sure you are anxious! I was anxious and my surgery was just a 20 minute drive away! I so admire you for facing your fears to be able to get this done. You are going to do awesome!

I have no complaints about the procedure itself with Dr. Ponce. I just highly recommend researching where your procedure is performed. I would not go alone either. My surgery was August 25th, and so far I have lost 22 lbs. I am walking at least 4x's a week too.
