I was doing so good for the first two months and now I find myself snacking and craving junk. A couple Cookies here and a few cheers there. Help! I need some support to get back on track. I had surgery may 28th and have lost 60 lbs since then and still have 65 left to go.

When I feel the desire to snack I eat Greek yogurt and P3 Protein packs from Oscar Meyer. Don't give up. 60 pounds is wonderful!

I was sleeved just before you. 60# is great!! Don't get too frustrated with this new phase, it too will pass.

I buy Quest Protein bars for when I want something sweet. The chocolate ones are pretty good and so are the lemon. I also snack on watermelon squares, cheese squares, and saltines with laughing cow cheese wedges. I dont snack much though because I use fluids instead .... Protein drinks (nectar has great fruity ones!) or SF Water drops/flavors like raspberry lemonade help too.

@@nrg33 I feel you, my surgery was April 28th, I am down 61lbs, and have 70 to go. I'm not looking at the big picture, I think in short goal. 4lbs to my next goal. I think I'm on another stall UGH!

I as well find myself snacking.

@@Pinkgirl1234, I thought that too. But I can tell you from reading this site for over a year, many people , including myself, have hunger pain that comes back-full force. It helps we have the restriction but it's so easy to snack every few hours. The key is to pick something healthy.....and that can be a battle.

Hello, how about change your snack to healthy Snacks. Instead of sodas drink Water. You can do this you've done it already. Dont forget exercise no minimum 4 times a wk. your goal is right around the corner. If the others can do it you can do it too ????.

I can also relate. I do try to pick on Proteins and nothing else but once in a while I have a sweet! I try to do the right things but sometimes those Snacks and cravings are too strong! Weak moments happen. I want to be good all the time but it is hard! Struggle daily!

Between chocolate Protein Shakes, chocolate Protein pudding and chocolate calcium chews, I haven't had very many days when I haven't had chocolate since my surgery,

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
