Band to bypass with Dr. Tanaka Kaiser SD

Hello! I was wondering if anyone has had Dr. Tanaka remove their band and bypass through Kaiser SD? If so could you please share your experience? Im seeing him this week as a pre op appt. Does he make you do the 6 mo. Kaiser program? Im hoping he wont make me do the 6 months... I was banded in 09 and am looking forward to being bypassed.

Ok! I saw Dr. Tanaka this morning and have been approved for my band removal and bypass. I do have to do the 6 month program but Im fine with it, by the time I get a surgery date to get the band out, wait 2 months to heal and then schedule the bypass it will be around 6 months give or take anyway.......so here I go! Still hoping to find another Kaiser patient to bond with here though!
