1 month post op...help

I just hit one month post op and trying to eat soft foods, when it goes down, it feels like its having issues going into the stomach and causes a bit of a pain. Then when I burp.....its a bubbly and has food particles in it so it makes it hard to burp. My stomach is really bubbly also....everytime I eat it just gurggles like their is no tomorrow. Has anybody every had this issue? Any advice. I was told my stomach is still swollen and making it hard to eat and that to keep up the super soft food, and it clears up in 6-8 weeks after surgery. Anybody?

Yes. Same problem here and I am 7 weeks out. I received good advice to stick with pureed / super soft foods until 8 weeks also and hope it helps. Meanwhile, it does seem to depend on what I am eating when I get the feeling you are describing. Sometimes I even get it from drinking and with both, I use it as a sign to slow down and space my bites or sips further apart. Also, is it possible it is gas and/or acid reflux? Have you tried gas-x and/or zantac? Might help.
