Fills w/BCBS Federal DFW area ANYONE??

I have Federal BCBS and the surgery center that my doctor uses is considered our of network. The surgery center told me I dont have out of network benefits and so I would be required to pay out of pocket for all fills. They did say I could appeal to the insurance company to make an exception. I dont know what I need to say to them to make this happen.

Has anyone else experienced this? Can I just find another place to do fills? I didnt post this in the insurance section because that is people trying to get approval for the surgery.
