Share ideas, What did you eat today ?

Hi All..

Georgia Girl.... I am hoping I do not have a leak in my band... I have not been to the Dr office for over 12 months and after gaining 50 plus lbs I went back for a fill. I had 9.5cc last year and they only found 6.5 cc..

They got me up to 7cc and will check again in a few weeks to see if I am holding the fluid... They said it might have dissipated over time but cant tell me for sure.. I don't have cravings like I had before, but we will see..

B- Protein shot/ coffee

S- Sf pudding

L- 3oz BBQ pork, 1/2 cup Mac&cheese,1/2 cup Beans

D - EAS chocolate Protein drink/SF Jello

S- 1oz almonds/coffee

Hi Joe I have not been to the dr since june and I got my band 08/21/08. I have only lost now only 11 lbs. I don't know if I have a leak or no will power. I have some restriction some days I have none. I eat half of what I did before band and throw up a good bit. I know I need to go to the dr so maybe next week I will. have a great day

Done!!! I have finally read all of the pages from the past year. I am here to join and be accountable for my actions, I have been so terrible lately. Putting myself on full liquids today to help me get back on track. :lol:

B - Protein Shake

S - Powerade zero

L - 1 Cup of cream of chicken Soup

S - S/F chocolate pudding

D - either soup again or a Protein shake

Oh and by the way they are having a bake sale at my work today, I love the holidays but then again I hate the holidays :w00t:

1 bowl of Soup w/crackers

1 mocha latte flavored muscle milk

It's that time for hormone stuff...I eat more during hormone time.

L-1 hot wing w/ranch,1/4c mixed salad w/1 tbsp dressing

D-3oz ground turkey topped w/swiss & mustard

S-crumbs of potato chips:mad:

L-1 drumstick 1/2 c mac & cheese, frozen rice cake

S-small fries:mad:

D-1 drumstick,1/4 c Beans, 1 Tsp. potato salad

S-popcorn

I have no excuse other than I need to do better.When I see the food even though I'm not hungry I just have to have it. It's me and not the band.

s - 5 ritz crackers

L - 1 cup of chili small bag of chips

s - small slice of cake

D - 2 small Cookies

UGH I went way over with the sweets today, there was a birthday party at work and I could help it =(

      On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
      Soooo I am coming to a realization
      of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

      Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
