Today

coffee

B-greek yogurt w/ 1/2 scoop Protein powder

S-7 baby "goldfish"

L-3 baked chix tenders, 2 T green Beans & 3 T roasted potatos

S-6 p-nut butter w/crackers and 4 oz silk light milk

D-1/2 leg quarter w/ 1/4c spinach

I love greek yogurt and I have never thought about putting protein power with it!!! Thank you for a great idea... I'm a slowwwwww loser.....50 lbs since March :redface: feel a little discouraged when I see others weight loss....but keep plugging along

Today:

B: nothing - wasn't hungry

L: 1/2 c. chicken tortilla Soup, with a sprinkle of shredded cheese

S: grande skinny vanilla latte, 3 chocolate kisses

D: 3 oz braised beef, 1/4 c. baked Beans

S: will probably have 2 mexican truffles

B: 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt & 6 grapes, tea w/honey

L: 1/2 cup greek yogurt w/blueberries

S: 1/4 cup guacamole and tortilla chips

D: 5 oz chk breast, marinara and moz sprinkled on top

S: 1 choc chip cookie

yesterday -

b- small bowl of cheesy grits

s- half banana

l- (5) chicken pot stickers

d - *at party so had a bit of* poached salmon/scallops/asparagus wrapped in prosciutto/lots of wine - too much

Today:

Brunch: 2/3 small movie popcorn, 1 large handful reeses pieces :thumbup:

S: small (5oz) low fat tart frozen yogurt w/ strawberries

D: 3.5 oz braised beef, 1 bite potato

S: baby ruth bar, some of the frozen yogurt

horrible food day! - Unfortunately I know tomorrow wont be better :thumbup:

      Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
