To be banded May 27th!

May 27th I am being banded by Sts Mary and Elizabeth hospital through Louisville lapband. I received approval from my insurance policy. Recently I received a letter from Cigna stating that it was not guaranteed payment. The baratric nurse told me this was common but I may owe an amount AFTER my insurance makes a payment. How much typically is that?? Should I be concerned about the "not guaranteed" payment? Help!! I'd really like some advice, I'm scared, and I don't have a support system.

Maybe call Cigna and ask them for information. The last thing you need is a surprise regarding owing money for the procedure. Good luck!
