Epilepsy and Gastric Sleeve

Hello, I am 3 weeks out from surgery and starting to worry. I have been epileptic since I was a child. Well controlled with Tegretol. Have not had a seizure for over 20 years. My doc is not concerned, but I read that others have had issues post surgery with meds not working. Anyone out there that has had a gastric sleeve procedure with epilepsy that can advise me on how this may go? I guess I'm just getting a case of the nerves, but would really like to hear something positive, as the internet is full of negative, and scary things concerning seizures and WLS.

Thanks!
