I used Dra. Laura Carmina Cardenas of Beauty Enhance. I had a great experience with her. She treated me exceptionally well, visited me every day in the recovery house for the two full weeks I was there, and provided great follow-up care via email and phone.

I had amazing results and a good experience with Dr Sauceda. He is the type to under promise and over deliver. The photos on his website aren't all that "wow" but real patients are posting pictures on Facebook and his obesity help forum that convinced me. I highly recommend him for a variety of reasons but probably the #1 is that he is absolutely passionate about changing the lives of the people that go to him.

I have gone to two different Plastic Surgeons in Tijuana Mexico, and although the first one had a beautiful state of the arch Facility, cosmed, my results were not all that wonderful.

My second plastic surgery, was with Dr. Victor Gutierrez, as listed my another poster. And I am in full agreement with her assessment of the surgeon. He is a wonderfully gifted surgeon.

Dr. Salvador Medina Sanchez Aka Dr. Medina at Trinity Medical Bariatrics in Tijuana, Mexico did my 360 lower body lift in March 2015. He speaks fluent English, as does his staff. My results are amazing and I had no complications. I am so very happy I found him. In June he will do a breast lift and arm lift. I have full faith in his abilities. Also, he serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Tijuana Angeles Hospital. Highly recommend!

So far I have used two one in Tijuana, Dr Salas, my scar is not well done at all and I had no after care, would not recommend.

Second I used Dr Sauceda, very young and pleasant, however I think he does under promise and this ends up as under delivering. I now need a revision because he did not remove enough skin and more skin needs removal for a tighter look.

Also his scars are a cross stitch type so you have a straight scar and crosses over it; not the nicest.

Hi Amazon,

I had a consult with Dr. Sauceda a few weeks ago. I found him to be very pleasant, but was extremely surprised that he seemed unfamiliar with Von Willebrands... even the recommended treatment during surgery. In comparison, I had a totally unplanned phone consult with Dr. Carmena Cardenas last Saturday and she was well versed and familiar with the treatments. Additionally, he made it a point to tell me how African American skin keloids, has poor scar healing, etc. Kind of like he was setting me up for disappointment....

I was very fortunate to have a excellent plastic surgeon. My skin healed beautifully because of the expert internal sutures.

We're trying to research (and possibly work with) the top plastic surgeons in Mexico. I've found that our members are usually right on target when it comes to this kind of info.

Which plastic surgeon in Mexico have you used or are looking to use, in the near future? Please provide all contact info for any plastics surgeon you're recommending.

Alex, any timeframe on whether BariatricPal will partner with plastic surgeons in Mexico? I'll be needing plastics next summer.

@@tspinks06 Have you looked at Dra. Carmina Cardenas yet? She was my surgeon almost 5 years ago for TT and breast lift with augmentation and I'm going back to her in September for a spiral thigh lift. She is now affiliated with BariatricPal, so you may be able to get a special package through the BP coordinators.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
