Fill and follow doctors in North or South Carolina ?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of any Fill/Follow up doctors in North or South Carolina.

I was banded by Dr. Sanchez a few years ago in Mexico. I was seeing Dr. Allen in Kentucky when I lived in Indiana. Since then I have moved.

Most doctors do not want to do follow up on anyone other than the patients they have done surgery on.

Thanks for your help.

Bonnie

:help:Thank you regarding the Fill Center USA. I went to their website and it didn't have a location near me.

I am concerned about what I have been reading about the centers. I want to be sure to go to a quality doctor since I think I am having acid reflux as a result of the band.

Are there any other follow up doctors....even in adjoining states

Regards

Okay here is doctors in your local ara that will do your fills as long as you can get them a copy of your records - Dr. Keith Gersin, Dr. Timothy Kuwada they are part of the CMC Mercy Bariatrics Center in Charlotte, NC 28204 704-355-9484

If this doesn't work for some reason -- let me know.

Good Luck!

Smatyas,

I called fillcentersusa today and they said that the Denver, NC wouldn't start scheduling until mid-July. Maybe I misunderstood. They said they would contact me once they started scheduling.

Thank you for all the info...it will definitely help.

I mainly need to find someone for follow up since I am having some pain and acid reflux associated with my band.

Do the fill doctors also check to see if the band is ok? I don't want another fill...I just want to be sure that my band is ok.

I thought I could find a resource from my band doctor but I can't call Dr. Sanchez in Monterrey, Mexico because I found out a few months back that he had been murdered (terrible thing to have happened...he seemed so nice!!).

Thanks again:)

Hi Bonnie -- the doctor's office will be able to take over care for all your band needs. I would give them a call.

I live outside of Charlotte I found Dr Gonzales in Winston Salem, I saw him on Thurday. He was great. The fill cost me 525.00 But a lot cheaper than spending 2 days traveling to Mexico. He does it at the hospital, I was in and out in about 30 minutes.

Hi Lauriann -- this is great to know, thanks for the update.

Did they do it under flouro (sp? - live xray?)

I travel every other week -- so I try to have at my finger tips WHO to see if I need to when I am in that area having issues.

Thanks again!

Gina

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
