Sugar free/FF pudding, SF Jello or for a Protein boost take part skim ricotta, add a couple tsps of sweetener, a TBSP of unsweetened cocoa and a splash of vanilla. It is yummy and helps with chocolate cravings. Yogurts are good and so is cottage cheese with some SF jam mixed in.

I don't know if you are on solids yet- but I buy small bars of dark chocolate (70% cacao) and they are wonderful. They satisfy and then I don't crave sweet stuff. I did run this by my dietitian who thought it was a good idea.

I am not sure if you are on mushies still or if you are progressing to normal foods, if its mushies, you have been given great advice above ????. Once you progress to normal foods, i can only tell you from my own experience, if you like ultra sweet stuff, you could try the Quest Protein Bars - i found the choc chip cookie dough to be super sweet - has 21g Protein and its super low in carbs - i believe its only got 3 carbs.

I go for yogurt usually. I take a plain greek yogurt and mix in flavored Protein powder. You could also do SF Jello, pudding, or popsicles.

sugar free fat free puddings helped me with my sweet tooth. I don't crave sugary things anymore. I think I got all the sugar out of my system and that helped the cravings

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
