Like I said before, I have really bad heartburn all the time so my dr is going to be checking for any damage and a possible hernia.

On a side note, I'm kinda bummed as my Nut appointment that was scheduled for this Wednesday was rescheduled for the 20th. But.... I'm still on the fast track (at least in my head) to getting this surgery done.

:D

I just had my first class with the surgeons office on Monday and now I'm patiently waiting for my Nut appointment on the 20th. My endo was rescheduled for next month but other than that It seems like everything is on schedule so far!

I met with the surgeon and case manager today for our first appointment. They are looking at either the end of July or early August for my procedure. I have blood work and an EKG tomorrow and then need to meet with the Psychologist before we can move forward.

Totally awesome. You must not have to wait the 6 months?

Awesome for you! I started the Protein Drinks for my Breakfast and only 1 glass of pop a day. Losing a pound a day. Drinking lots of Water for first time in my life. Easier than I thought. I also like the shakes

Don't blame you st all. It's all I can think or talk about. My husband said he wished it was now, cause all I talk about is the weight loss and exercise. Lol

Glad I'm not the only one who is obsessed with having their surgery! LOL! I think since I made this decision, I've been driving my friends crazy with surgery talk. LOL! I even joked with my co workers about being happy that I won't be able to eat much after surgery the other day. This is an exciting time for us all!

My second class with at the surgeons office is going to be on June 8th. That only leaves my endo and the final class before surgery can happen!

:D

Rwoods200 My next appointment is also the 8th. My endo is the 5th. Sounds like we'll be having surgery around the same time.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
