  1. I am trying to eat healthy so I can get this pre-surgery weight off I looked at the carbs in a apple and was amazed it was over 20 grams. Is there any fruit I can eat that won't overload me in carbs? I am trying to keep carbs around 40 grams a day.
  2. I have not had my sleeve done yet and I am trying to figure out the Protein drinks. I have been using the EAS Complete Protein powder from Walmart, but in the bariatric book my Dr's office gave me it list powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury, Advantedge, whey Powder to name a few. The EAS has 25 grams of protein in 2 scoops. Is this a good one to be using it cost less than $20.00 per container?
  3. I am hoping late July or August going to my 2nd psychological appt in July as soon as he releases me and I meet the 10 pound weight loss, which I only have a couple more to go. Then they are going to submit to insurance.

Now all I need to do is lose the last 3lbs, see the nut one more time, then we get to submit for insurance approval. I have wanted this for so long I know I can do this. Nothing taste as good feels!!!!!!
  6. I am really afraid of being able to afford everything I need after my sleeve. Can someone give me idea how much all the protein shakes and the liquid diet is going to run me?
  7. I am planning on July or August surgery date that is my biggest fear is the liquid stage I want this more than anything.
  8. I am hoping for a August sleeve I am so scared of the liquid stage. I am to a very emotional eater, I know I need to do this and want to do this for many different reasons. I just hope and pray I can get thru that liquid stage.
  9. No I didn't have the 6 month phy diet, at least I hope not when I called Medicare they didn't say anything about it.
  10. I have seen the nut and my 2nd psychological appt is in July so planning on a August surgery date of all goes well.
  11. Some days I will have a slim fast shake for breakfast or I will have eggs and toast. Some days I don't eat lunch and for dinner I am watching my portions.
  12. I made the decision to do the gastric sleeve and went to my first Dr's appt on Feb 25,2015. I was told to lose 10 pounds before they could schedule my surgery, I can't seem to get the last 4lbs off. Does anyone have any advice for me please.
