Went to surgeon and all was great. Go Monday to take copy of stress test and letter saying can be off blood thinner for a day to schedule endo

I'm planning on August. We are going out of the country in mid July and I worry about complications if I do it earlier. I've already done my 6 month visits, sleep study, met with the surgeon, nutritionist and social worker. I've been going back and forth on the lap band or the sleeve. The surgeon seemed to prefer the band. Since I've only been counseled on the band I have to go back and have the sleeve counseling section too.

If all goes well with insurance I should be having surgery either late July or early August. I'm excited! I meet with the Nut and Psych on May 6th then start my mandatory classes with the surgeons office on May 11th. It will all be here before we know it!!!!

Awesome! Have my second nut appointment may 21st.

Im scheduled for the end of August. I have had my monthly visits since Febuary but now I'm feeling nervous. I have had many surgeries before, perhaps its the drastic measure of cutting stomach, I don't know... but I am scared and have never been before a surgery.

Alright! More and more of us coming around lately. Getting ready for 2nd nut appointment, had my blood work, stress test too. Any day endo should be scheduled. That completes my list except finishing the nut appointments up.til time for surgery. Met with ssurgeon on April 21st.

I don't have my endo scheduled yet, but that's the only other thing left for me to get scheduled. I only have to see the Nut and Psych once, so I'm excited that we're all here to support each other. Our surgeries will be scheduled and here before we know it!

Looks like I may be an AUGUST sleever, too! I have done my psych evaluation, chest X-ray, primary care doctor visit, and abdominal ultrasound. I have my EGD consult tomorrow and sleep study consult next week. Moving right along. I will be doing a revision from the band.

Just found out that my Endo is scheduled for May 22nd. Its awesome and yet scary at how quickly everything is happening. I'm glad we all are in the same boat! Its nice to have someone who understands exactly whats going on.. My co workers and family don't exactly get why I'm so excited to have doctors appointments. LOL!
