Scared that its a slip!

Hi.. i got banded almost 2years.. for a couple of months now ive been having bad bloating and sometimes acid reflux. I havent had a fill in about a year.. i get a gurgling sound as well with my bloating.. i can pass down food no problem i have not been throwing up or wake up coughing so i really dont know.. ive made an appt but they dont have an appy until may 5th.. in the mean time, should i just stick to a liquid diet? Im seriously like bloated all day.. i am getting so tired of it :( SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

@@LizFrmTexas do you have Fluid in your band now?

Try not stress over the bloating being a slip, but do take some precautions to help yourself be comfortable. Going back to band basics is always a good idea. A liquid diet will help to sooth your stomach and esophagus if you are having reflux. It will also take the stress off the pouch and the band. So give it a go for a few days to a week and then move to soft foods and see how it goes.

If this does not help you than I would call the Dr. and tell them you need a more urgent appointment because you want to take care of it ASAP and avoid any complications.
