Anyone do outpatient surgery for VSG? How long were you in the hosp?

I got my insurance letter and it says approved for outpatient surgery. I know this seems like I stupid thing, but I never asked my surgeon how long I'd be in the hospital. I have called the office and hopefully will hear them tomorrow. I never considered I could be in and out in 1 day. Anyone else have this happen?

      My surgery was at 10am and I was out by 3pm. No complications and very little pain.

    I was at hospital overnight and sure wished I went home. My surgery was at 7:30 am and I could have gone home by 3. The night in the hospital was not restful, the staff was not particularly helpful and I was put in a room with a drama queen 72 year old that demanded a lot of attention! If I'd have gone home I would have felt a lot better! I was also self pay and I'd have saved $1200!
