Searching for a Sleeve Surgeon in NY possibly at Weil Cornell?

Hello. I had the lab band procedure in 2009 and was a total failure. I had a band slip and had it released in 2013 (yes its still in me) and I am finally trying to decide on a possibly undergoing gastric sleeve after gaining back my 60+ pounds and then some. I had my surgery in NJ and do not want to return to my surgeon. I am looking to have my surgery done near my job, but the surgeon search tool for this website is not much help. Anyone have any names other than the docs at NYU?

Thank you!

Did you look at cornell weight loss surgery? Drs pomp and Dakin are both good.

I'm going through the process now @NYP-Weill Cornell. Both Drs Pomp and Dakin have excellent reps when it comes to the band revisions. One girl I meet in a support group meeting said Dr. Pomp pretty much saved her life, that's how bad her lap band was.

@@twittymilk are you a revision? Pomp did my first surgery and is doing my revision this summer. He is great!
