Sweet slimey flavor in my mouth!

Please help. Anyone that has gone through the pre op liquid diet and might relate to what I'm going through. My mouth towards the back of my tongue is coated with a slimey sweetness that won't go away no matter what I do or eat. I brushed my teeth and tongue. It is so gross I feel like I'll throw up.

It's probably just your body in ketosis if you really low in carbs. (Essentially it's your body breaking down fat instead of using carbs..it's a good thing) I've had it for Months now. Mine is more of a medal taste though. If it's not that are you diabetic?
