I'm 58 and waiting for my date, but you can never be too old to start improving your health! Even my 94 y.o. father keeps walking 3 miles a day in the high desert to stay fit. He's had colon cancer twice, but only started getting "in shape" after he hit 70.

@@LoreLu LOVE LOVE LOVE your Dad. Mine is upper 70's, 4x cancer and still goes it! Age, like your weight, is a number on the scale. It is NOT the rule of someones' life.

I'm 48 had surgery in March IT IS THE BEST THING I COULD EVER HAVE DONE FOR MYSELF i haven't felt this good in 31years before my first child OF YOUR CONSIDERING DO IT I'm not saying it was easy it wasn't but it was worth it i started at 280 I'm 150 at goal and feeling faboulous no more high blood pressure no more high cholesterol and my knee replacement is off the table. I was 47... I think 40s/50s are a very common age group to have this surgery! Plenty of people younger and older too.
