Weight watchers approval for surgery

Hi...I have Aetna. I want to submit my 6 month weight watchers booklet for the medically supervised diet requirement. Did anyone submit that and was approved by Aetna? Thanks

    Check what your insurance plan says. My time had to be "physician supervised" which weight watchers is not. You can probably submit it as weight history but you might not be able to circumvent the 4-6 months of supervised diet. Good luck to you!
