Hello I'm 7 weeks post-op and have soooo much air in my stomach. Don't really thinks it is gas just emptiness?? I'm not sure but it is super annoying. I try to drink Water to push it out but because its sooo much air it makes me feel full. Heck maybe it is gas?? I just don't know

Has anyone been thru this? Can you tell me what it is and how to get rid of it? PLEASE

How do you know it's air?

I don't know what it is. that's why i'm asking for help from anyone who may be experiencing this. Air is the only way I can describe the feeling.

Are you active enough? Its important to keep moving in order to expelled the gas trapped in the body. It can rest in the stomach and back, chest area etc. Its even more painful then the actual surgery procedure.

Shoulder gas pains? Are you eating and drinking slow enough? Are you smoking or drinking through a straw?

Good luck. Id call your nurse/dr.
