12 days post op, getting bad shoulder and rib pain

Every time I eat or drink my left shoulder hurts so bad, now my ribs on my left side are hurting. Any clue if this is normal or what could be causing it? I got my surgery done in mexico and dont have a surgeon locally to answer my questions. Feeling kind of alone.

Sounds like the same gas pain I experienced. Have you tried taking GasX? Marching in place helped for me as well.

PS: I had my surgery in Mexico as well. Do you have a number to call for questions and concerns? They should offer you some support over the phone.
