@@Chrystee i had mines removed b4 my surgery but 75 is good I've learned the scale isn't our friend don't do it just measure and u will see how fast you have come.

@@jcrider4551 79 is good also we all are doing great WE ARE WORK IN PROGRESS 339 to 260 is awesome keep up the good work

Thanks! I lost all the Water, and now down 2 more pounds. YAY.

Everyone is doing so good. I have lost around 60-70 lbs. I had a major set back and yesterday had my gull bladder taken out. I will once again not be able to go to the gym. It seems soon as I feel better, I then have something happen and am unable to go to the gym. I have also had tons of issues with craving carbs, especially when my stomach hurt. I have tried to be good but honestly I haven't.

It will be ok.. Happened to me too! sucks!

Don't you find it frustrating to compare lbs lost? We all have such different body types, starting points, amount to lose, etc.

I think it would be a little more apples-to-apples to discuss as % of excess weight lost. For example, I have lost 83 of 137 excess lbs, so I have lost 60.5% of my excess weight. Anyone with me on this? :)

I have lost 71 lbs so far and have about 22 lbs more to go! Yay!!! Happy dance! :D A friend of mine said the last 20 lbs was the hardest for her. I'm thinking she may be right! What do you guys think? Is anyone within 20 lbs of their goal?

If we do percentages then I have lost 66% of my excess weight. 110lbs down and 56 to go!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
