Thank God no, I would be all kinds of frustrated. Hang in there...it will get better.

Anyone else gain weight on the clear liquid stage? Or stall? I have a barrier I can't break. Been same weight three days. No cheating

Hang in there. I too was very hungry...like stomach growling hungry. I was super tired also. Also, I had a major case of diet brain. About day 4, I felt much better. Lots of energy and not so hungry. But the diet brain has stuck around, unfortunately! It will get better soon. :)

Today is day 2 of my liquid diet and it is horrible. I am weak, tired, have a bad headache and starving. I am also at work. I was supposed to work tomorrow but my boss is letting today be my last. Surgery is monday, i am nervous and excited. More ready to just get this over. Im located in Michigan.

Two more days until my sleeve surgery! I am excited & kind of freaking out lol! I always over do it, but between packing for the hospital, packing my kids stuff for their Nana's house, getting everything situated to take my four dogs to the Kennel, making sure my house is spotless ( because I am a control freak lol) and just mentally preparing I am getting anxious. I will have plenty of time to do it all I'm sure, but I always try to do more then what is needed. It drives my husband nuts when we are going on a trip, but I don't know how to turn it off! Lol! Being over prepared is what me feel in control & at ease.

I had one during endo also. Not standard procedure but not uncommon if they see anything out of spec.

They told me yesterday to bathe in dial soap up to two days before surgery and the morning of. She said no perfumes and stuff. My question is this. Does that mean deodorant, face cream, Shampoo, and chipped toe nail polish? She talked fast lol

I had to wash with Hibacleanse tonight, which I did and again in the morning before heading in for my surgery.

It's to make sure there's no lotions, powders, etc or excess oils on your skin.

Im on day 9 of my preop diet and I have only lost 3 pounds. :( I have not cheated. Yesterday I went to my preop appt and was told that according to my tests, my liver was a normal size, meaning its not enlarged. I wonder if that is why im not losing much?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
