If you had your surgery in Mexico can you please share with me how much money you brought with you?

I brought about $200 cash in small bills and ended up using almost none of it. I stashed it in all different places so if I lost a bag or something, I'd still have money. But I ended up not using much of it at all. I used it for a couple of tips for shuttle drivers and a bottle of vitamin water. That was it.

I also brought $200. I only used $60. $20 tip for our driver, cabs back and forth from Walmart, some fruit ice from a street vendor, and a Mani/pedi. I got some souvenirs at Walmart but used my credit card.

Same here, I took $200 but spent less than $100. Bought decaf tea bags and pedialyte at Walmart, a couple protein in drinks at GNC, a couple popsicles from a street vendor and tips for driver and bellhops. Used my credit card to pay for hotel extras at checkout (movie rental, laundry service and sister's restaurant tab)

Cash? 100 but only used about $20 for tips.

Because of a minor issue (anemia) I had to charge about $300 for a blood transfusion.
