Rochester, NY / Finger Lakes WLS Renaissance Group

Hello all! I'm a relatively new member to the club, and would love the opportunity to facilitate a local group. I had my RNY by Dr. William O'Malley at the Highland Hospital Bariatric Surgery Center on January 2, 2015 and recovering well. I am a professional, 55 year old happily married male. I have two adult children and am a management consultant specializing in information technology and business sustainability. I participate in the M.O.N.A.R.C.H. Support group out of Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY.

I'm in Rochester as well. I'm not aware of any specific groups in the area, though. I've been relying on these forums for information and support.

Hi! I'm planning on getting my surgery from Highland as well! Jamie I suggest you go to a monarch meeting, they're free and are for post and pre op patients, I'll be attending my first meeting on July 8th

I'm planning to go to the July 8th meeting as well. If you check out highland hospitals bariatric surgery center facebook page it has the info. Jamie you should come! It would be great to meet people in the area going through the surgery process :)
