Operation Transformation

Would it be wise to follow the food plan on RTEs Operation Transformation with the band, or would I be setting myself up for disappointment? I like the idea of it but worry that once I go back to normal (not unhealthy, just realistic) eating, I'll pile it all back on. Any bandsters have any experience?
